Spring Lace

I really enjoyed making this cake. This is an 8 inch double layer white cake with buttercream icing. The yellow flowers are gumpaste and the white flowers are made from marshmallow fondant. The lady who ordered this cake for her mother's birthday wanted a hummingbird cake and said her mother loves spring colors. I think the alternating blue and lavender with the corneli lace turned out so pretty. And the floers sticking up make it feel like a real spring setting. I'm very happy with this cake.

Made in God's Image

This cake was a fun idea. This guy's wife came up with the idea of putting "made in God's image...25 years ago" on it and I suggested that we put pictures from different stages of his life on it. This is a 9X13 chite cake with buttercream icing and edible images. The crosses are plastic.

Cassie

This is an 8 inch chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The dots and flowers are made from marshmallow fondant. The smash cake is also chocolate cake with buttercream icing.

Elizabeth's Wedding

These are pictures from our oldest daughter's wedding.

I coordinated the wedding and did the flowers.

I also made the flower girl dresses.

Superman

This is a 9X13 chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The Superman symbol is made from marshmallow fondant and accented with edible glitter.

Karen

This is one of the many chocolate cakes like this I've made...chocolate fudge cake with chocolate cream cheese icing topped with chocolate shavings and chocolate dipped strawberries.

Superbowl Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for a youth Superbowl party last year.

Spongebob

This is a 9X13 yellow butter cake. It is covered with buttercream icing. I used marshmallow fondant for the pads that the toys are sitting on.

Simply White

This is a 9X13 cake that I made for my mother-in-law's birthday last year. I was practicing making icing roses.

Valentine Cupcakes

I made these two sets of cupcakes for my two young sons Valentine's Day parties. One set is decorated with pastel colored sprinkles and sweet tart hearts. The other set is decorated with "tie dye" icing and m&ms.

Precious Kiss

This is a wedding cake I made a little over a year ago. I wish i could find a better picture because this cake was really cute. I made a 12 inch heart and a ten inch heart. Both were covered with buttercream icing. The kissing boy and girl silhouette are made from marshmallow fondant.

Angel Cake

This cake was made for Sarah's 17th birthday last year.

Red Velvet

This is a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing. Yum!!

Miss to Mrs

I thought this was a cute cake for a bridal shower. It is a 9X13 and is covered and decorated with buttercream icing.

Peace Guitar

I made this cake for our 14 year old daughters birthday last October. She wanted a yellow cake with a hot pink peace sign and green polka dots. I saw a poster with the guitar peace sign and used that idea on this cake and I made the side and border like tie dye. I think the cake turned out really cute. The peace sign is made from marshmallow fondant. The rest of the decorations are buttercream.

Circles and Dots

This is a small 6 inch round cake with buttercream icing. The decorations are made from marshmallow fondant. I also used silver candy beads and white edible glitter.

Oreo Cake

This was a welcome home cake that i made for my 14 year old son after he went to a summer studies program in Kansas for three weeks. He loves oreos and the whole cake tasted like oreos. I made chocolate cake and covered it with vanilla icing and crushed oreos.

Santa Cupcakes

I made these for my son's class for their Christmas party. I used buttercream icing for the hat and face and then used coconut for the beard and hair. I thought these were so cute.

This is a cake I did for a wedding I coordinated about a year ago. It was very windy that day so the ribbons were hard to keep in place but it all came together in the end.

I coordinated this wedding but I also did the flowers and the cakes for it. But somehow I don't have a picture of the groom's cake.

Mario Bros

This was a cool cake. I did this one a little over a year ago. The bottom tier is a ten inch round, the middle is an eight inch round, and the mushroom is a four inch round topped with a small half ball cake. All of the cake is white cake and is covered with buttercream and then decorated with marshmallow fondant. The mom that ordered this cake supplied the toys and candles. I had a lot of fun with this cake.

Ribbons and Roses

I like these kind of cakes. They are simple in style yet elegant. The picture looks kind of blue but the wide ribbons were a nice lavender and the narrow ones and the flowers were a deep violet. This is an eight inch round.

Wedding Dress

I thought this made a really cute wedding shower cake. It is a chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The dress is made from marchmallow fondant and embellished with buttercream. I added a few artificial flowers as well.

Rodeo

This is one of two cakes this girl got from me for her 16th birthday. Both were a learning experience. I had never attempted to make a hat out of cake before. I think it turned out pretty cute. The rodeo action shots of her are edible images. The hat is covered with marshmallow fondant. The rest is covered with buttercream. She was thrilled. She absolutely loved both of her cakes.

Karlee

This cake was fun as well as a huge learning experience. This girl got another cake from me for the same birthday. The bottom tier of this cake is a ten inch round and the top is an eight inch round. They are covered with buttercream icing. The decorations are made from marshmallow fondant. I think the zebra print with the hot pink looked really cute. I think the Back looked good too.

John Deer

I made this cake for a baby shower. This is an 11X15 cake with buttercream icing. The John Deer symbol is made from marshmallow fondant. The pond is made with piping gel. It's hard to see in this picture but I also placed candy rocks in some of the grass. I have done other John Deer cakes as well. There are several ways to do this theme.

John 3:16

I made this cake for a church valentine dinner for my sister-in-law's church. It is an 11X15 cake with buttercream icing.

Jeff Gordon

This is a six inch round cake with buttercream icing and an edible image on top. I also used edible images for the 24's around the sides.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

These are fun cupcakes and are always a hit with kids. The cupcakes are cooked in the cone then decorated with buttercream icing and sprinkles. These can be done in any colors and with a variety of topping choices.

Hillary

This cake looked really neat. The picture doesn't do it justice. The bride was so pleased with it. The bottom tier is white cake, the middle is red velvet and the top is Italian cream. It is covered and decorated with buttercream incing.

I also did the flowers for this wedding. The bride had black magic roses accented with lemon leaf and the bridesmaid had white roses and red spray roses accented with bear grass and black tree fern. The bouquets were tied with black ribbon.

Kayla Graduation

This is a 9X13 cake with a four inch round on the corner for the base of the graduation cap. It is covered with buttercream icing. I used marshmallow fondant for the stars, numbers, and top of the cap.

Deborah

This is probably my absolute favorite cake that I have done. I made this cake for the Mayor of Brandon when he got married last year. It is Italian cream cake with cream cheese icing and then covered in marshmallow fondant and decorated with fresh flowers. This cake can be done with any color flowers and it is so elegant. I love the way it turned out.

I did the centerpiece flowers for the reception as well. I used white roses and lilies, cattails, and fern leaf.

Simple Fish

I was really disappointed in this cake but it was a last ditch effort to produce something fast. The family said they really liked it so I guess that's all that matters. It is a 9X13 cake with buttercream icing.

Elmo

Unfortunately this is a terrible picture but a really cute cake. Elmo is made of cake and covered with buttercream icing. his eyes and nose are made from marshmallow fondant and he is standing on an eight inch round cake. I have also made a stand up frog cake like this. I'm still looking for pictures of it.

Dora the Explorer

This cake turned out cute. It is a 9X13 cake with buttercream icing and the Dora cake kit.

Daisies and Dots

I love this cake. This girl had a huge sweet sixteen party. All of her colors were turquoise, brown, and silver. The cake is chocolate with chocolate buttercream icing. The flowers, circles and dots, and "Sweet 16" are made from marshmallow fondant and are brushed with silver edible powder that makes it shimmer. I also added some silver and white candy beads. The silver bows are the only thing they couldn't eat.

Easter Cross

I made this cake for last year's family Easter get together. At Bob's request it was chocolate. I have also used the cross cake for baby showers, a groom's cake, and baby dedication.

Crawfish Cake

This cake was a hit. The hostess and the guests loved it. This one is from last spring. I'll be doing this year's next month. This is an 11X15 yellow butter cake with buttercream icing and an edible image. The crawfish are made of red chocolate.

Clown Cake

I wish I had a bigger picture of this because it was really cute. It is an 11X15 cake with buttercream icing. I made the clowns with buttercream icing as well. I hope to get to do another one of these soon.
